In this latest episode, Sohail Merchant made a come up to discuss property investment and taxes. He and Moxin Reza emphasized on the importance of working with a property investment advisor and an accountant to make informed decisions about buying, managing, and selling properties. 

During the discussion, the difference between a normal accountant, who focuses on tax minimization strategies, and a property accountant, who helps optimize tax and ensure compliance with tax laws was also explained in details.  

The conversation covered vast topics like  negative gearing, the six-year rule for principal place of residence and renting, and the potential pitfalls of buying house and land packages along with the role of mortgage brokers in relation to accountants and the importance of managing taxes efficiently.
